I love it!! What a fun and beautiful thing to read first thing in the morning with tea. Going into the day with a smile and feeling a bit more enchanted. 🙏🙌

What fun. I'm sorry I missed the friendly competition. I will join next time around!

Excellent! This site is also interactive at "The Enchanted Forest" - a monthly digest of enchanting things on Substack. If you see or write something you find enchanting, restack it and tag me @ Tara Penry so I can put it in the draft for the next month. (It should be something published within the month.) I repost 10 enchanting things and tag the nominators. I seem to like gatherings. ;-)

Ok, I just searched for The Enchanted Forest and what arose didn’t look connected to you. Should I be searching with other key words?

Thank you, Donna! I'm glad you enjoyed it. The connection between the Raggedy Ann stories - dolls coming alive - and poetry just made all kinds of sense to me. Same sort of magic. ✨

Tara, I've read this repeatedly, and each time I experience it a little differently. This last time, I'm imagining Ramona as a child, reciting the po'm from memory, beaming at how it was written, by her doll friends, just for her. Well done!
